Karim Benzema makes history as he move up to fourth place on La Liga's all-time top scorers list

Karim Benzema has made history by becoming the fourth highest scorer in La Liga. The achievement was made after he scored a hat-trick in a match against Almeria. He surpassed Hugo Sanchez, who previously held the title, by scoring a total of 236 goals...

Benzema scored two of his goals from close-range finishes after receiving cutbacks from Brazilian wingers Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo. He scored his third goal from a penalty after Lucas Vazquez was fouled by Largie Ramazani.

Real Madrid's win in the match brought them closer to the league leaders, Barcelona. They are now only eight points behind them in second place. The victory also comes as a boost to the team's morale before their upcoming Champions League semi-final against Manchester City on May 9th.
