Still on celebration, 23-year-old Trent Alexander-Arnold who plays full-back for the Carabao champions took to twitter to send a warning to European teams with a ''1/4. Hungry for more..'' caption.

Liverpool is currently 6 points behind Manchester city in the premier league with a game in hand and have recorded immense success in this seasons champions league campaign.

Will Liverpool get 4/4 this season?

Chelsea failed to secure all their penalties after a tactical substitution of Kepa Arrizabalaga which had paid off in the past failed after all eleven penalty takers for Liverpool found the back of the net and Kepa the other end putting the ball wide, failed to score Chelsea's 11th penalty.

Liverpool have won the EFL title (9) more than any other English team since inception of the Cup in 1960 followed by Man city(8).
